Try this as a work around. Go to Market, then search for an app. It'll work from the search engine, but not the main page.
That worked on my nieces. Then a few days later, it fixed itself and now works fine.

I have tried all the work-arounds, create a second Google id, search from the search bar, download an app right away, they all fail.
I have seen the Market install on the 2.2 Beta work, it does not show all application though, and I am not ready to make the move to 2.2.
I was hoping the person who created the flash might have a chance to look at it.
Amazon's App Store apk seems to work okay, so I have been using it, but I would love to have a working Android Market. I've tried everything I can think of, or read on here.
Thank you.
Darius.

I had a full working Market under Gingerbread last week using the Google Apps, randomblame had in his CM7 rom. Downloading was fine for days, not sure about whether all the apps are showing in search thou. I didn't have any Clockwox mods in.
Here is CM7 google apps. I have included all of randomblame CM7 apps that are different than the mini's apps, not sure which ones are needed for GE. I also included the build.prop that worked. Market seems to want you to be legit, and I don't think Pandigital is. It has SDK set to 9, gingerbread, that might be required for the google apps to load?? Play with this and the worst case you need to reflash.

I also included an org SH20 framework.jar (non-clockwox). Find an Eclair, Phone.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk, throw those 3 files in and see if Market connects right.
Sorry I can't be much more help.
