Hi!

I am unable to get the system folder r/w

I upgraded the tab to 0929
Then i downloaded the Gingerbreak 1.2
Installed it pushed root, device rebooted, using ES File Exlorer, tells me it didn't pass the test and I am unable to do any changes in system.
Tryed root explorer and it tells me the same story.
downloaded z4root and it tells me the system is rooted and so on.

I read alot of you have rooted your devices.

But I am unable to do so, even after two beers I am unable to get this thing rooted.

Root explorer ( in some version that i cant remember ) says the root feature is experimental,
and does work fine after an update vía market.

if your device is really rooted, you should see some android with pirate eye patch in your apps,
this app will come up everytime some app request super user access and you must click on grant
for it to work.

if it is not rooted with gingerbreak 1.2 then you must make sure you enabled the usb debup feature
and placed a freshly fat32 formated ( not quick ) microsd card in the external microsd card slot
i used a 1 gb card.

root explorer should work remounting the system partition rw, (it will always start mounted ro )
you must click in the "mount r/w" option on root explorer for you to be able to make changes.

ginger break 1.2 worked fine with me using 929 firmware.

I got it working now.

Did a new updated on the pad with 0929.
Activated USB debugging.

Formated the micro sd card with FAT32 (not quick).
Downloaded the gingerbreak apk file and put it on the micro sd card.

installed gingerbreak apk from micro sd card.
open the gingerbreak software and rooted the device.

at first i tried with ES File Explorer with no luck.
then I downloaded root explorer from market.

and this time I was able to make the /system r/w

Argh!

Now, when I am able to edit the build.prop I am unable to make Order and Chaos to run on it.
I manage to make it run on the Novo 7, but not on the T9.

Can anyone help with the some build.prop settings pls.

Order and chaos is a online mmo game.
I have tryed most settings wo any luck.
