Hi
OK the Zenithink z102 have arrived yes 100% flytouch/superpad exterior, came in white-box ZEPAD written on it,been inside 1 to start 2 x 4,000mah battery set-up,different motherboard to superpad models Disco.po41,etc on the preformance done a few things at moment impressed by most
1, turning on tablet to home screen about 30 to 40 seconds very fast against any other superpad/flytouch
2,touch is very different to flytouch,it is very responsive and smooth
3,loaded a few games angrybirds, driving game, labyrinth, the Graphics are a lot clearer than on flytouch ARM 11,very quick loading time much much faster than flytouch,G.sensor worked correct on 3 games that needed it
4,hit youtube, did a bit of google searching yet again much better quality picture and 2 to 3 times faster loading time then any superpad running ARM 11,
5 did not drop wifi stayed connected until i turned off after 3 hours
6,full charged battery i'd say it would last 3.5 to 4 hours on wifi
7,comes routed
8, for those who watech BBC IPLAYER the voice and mouth movement SYNC works perfect you have a button on top menu bar on the screen of pad right side which plays App*e ip*ad 5 html software etc and also flash mode which needs switching for flash content or 5html
9,2 point multi-touch works fine
10, running FLASH PLAYER 11.1
11,some nice live wallpaper
12, FULL ANDROID MARKET PAID AND FREE ACCEPTS PAID APPS DOWNLOADS
13, you can actually see the screen outside in the sun not big thing but whats the use of having a pad if you can only use in-doors on such a beautiful day
14, you can put a security lock code to stop tampering
a couple of downsides*************************
manual is a disgrace no proper instructions/directions for some 1 new with Android they would be buggered, but saying that it as the basics
gps switching on by its self after going into MAPS,NAVIGATION it is not turned on in settings, and can only be turned off by turning off tablet
but overall a much smoother tablet than other superpads with the ARMII cpu no freezes no crashes and a lot faster surfing the net
*********************************************************************************************************
UPDATE just taken a tablet out on a co-pilot navigation tour and i have no idea what the navigation hardware is inside these ZENITHINK tablets Z102 is! BUT it did not need the external antenna at all,and i have to say that impresses me a lot,as i have sold many many superpad/flytouch models and they just would not work properly without a antenna,i even picked up the satelitte fixes while sat in the house
and i am not just saying this i have 70 flytouch/superpads to sell so before i put these in my shop i am selling the others 1st lol
BEEN using some *pple *pad HTML5 software and i mean great
been left on over a day now in sleep mode and still going strong
OK my own personal thoughts on the Zenithink Z102 after selling in excess of 800 tablets from 7"-8"-10" in 10 months,i have sold many many flytouch/superpads with gps etc? With the Zenithink z102 as it as the same exterior as the superpad/flytouch models? for the cost of a 10" tablet having multi-touch-gps-cortex A9-against the same looking superpad/flytouch,or any other priced in the same bracket range,i would buy a Zenithink Z102 the overall preformance is very very good.I do not say this lightly as i bought Zenithink zt180 when i 1st started out and they were sh*t,i have not bought a Zenithink since for 10 months, but i thought i would look at these.and they get 9/10 just the gps issue to me needs fixing
***************************************************************

Very cool.

I believe the Z102 is still using Froyo, at least the latest updated ROM on the Zenithink site (ROM 1018) is Froyo - http://www.zenithink...ownews_234.html

If you need a Forum made in the A9 section, PM me....

The Flytouch 5 is Corex A9 with capacitive. This is a multi-touch resistive which is more of a hack and less of actual Multi-Touch. The multi-touch doesn't work in games. I have the E-98 here and I'm guessing they work the same way which in games is not at all.

I'm trying to get away from resistive completely and recommending people buy a tablet that is capacitive. They are still 1/2 the price as commercial tablets. I was in CompUsa the other day and a big name capacitive 9" with tegra 2 processor same speed as the ARM Cortex 9 was 499.99. That was just one instance. They were all 449 or more and only one had a 10" screen and it was 500 some odd dollars.

Hi
F&L
I think the flytouch 5 is neither just a name FLYTOUCH that attracts the potential buyers
I think on what people can afford to buy would be a better word otherwise $70 7" resistive tablets would never sell? those who are paying $140-$170 for a superpad disco,po41,yospad, with ARMII resistive gps etc tablet then for the same price they should buy a CORTEX A9 Zenithink Z102 , because they are faster,no long wait for pages loading on the net, games play faster, you actually get bbc iplayer playing correct, better software all round flash 11.1 etc etc,you can run html5 Ip*d things,THE gps NAVIGATION YOU ARE GETTING on a 10" screen aka you could not buy a garmin gps in 10" for $140 never mind a computer?
the only problem i have ever heard anyone complain about games on resistive superpads was the G.SENSOR did not play labyrinth, racing games etc correct but that was the ARMII models,so for those who are looking for a big screen tablet, that will not disappoint with limited money resources, against any other 10.1 tablet out there for the $140-$170 price range go with the Z102 you got all the gimmicks at your finger tips, which is not going to cost a arm & leg

I've got a couple of these coming. I had a slow few weeks cause I was out of 7" 8650 (Which is a super-fast mover) so I had money tied up waiting to get a delivery from Eken and couldn't order a few. Anyways enough of my plight. I will test these out here shortly. If they look like a Flytouch and preform better I would be a happy boy because the cost is pretty much the same and they could be side marketed as a Flytouch. I would like to see how this resisitve multi-touch works because I sell the E98s and they are a great machine but the multi-touch does not work in games properly i.e. Crusade of Destiny, Heavy Gunner.

They beat ARM11 superpad chip hands down, alot faster especially loading the web, sykpe webcam also, the superpads all seem to be moving over to cortex but most on the cortex A8 chip, just ordered some in 16gb,for $15 usd less less than the 4gb z102 model

This pad is awesome. When I sell out of old model Flytouch I don't think I will ever look back. Zenithink stepped up there game on this one.

yes they have stepped up to the mark as Zenithink, the old flytouch disco, etc were good after a year of none stop tweaks etc,but why no one ever used Cortex chips from the beginning in that model i'll never know as you say the ARM11 is finished in the flytouch arena

I think the zenithink z102 should be Android 2.3!
My link
Otherwise;
as it advertised there.
it can not be Adobe Flash Player 11.0
the android 2.2 froyo can only update to Flash 10.1!

Z102 as just had a 2.3 android firmware update but just before the 2.3 update it was running 11.0 flash on the older froyo 2.2 as it had the apk flash 11.0 which you had to download yourself to use flash content,i still have some z102 2.2 which i have not updated to 2.3 as yet and just downloaded flash 11.0 apk from a independent site and z102 running 2.2 accepted it with no problem

Well as everyone knows, having Flash (and what version) working on tablets should no longer really be a factor about what tablet to buy since Adobe is no longer supporting mobile flash.....

Hmmmm - http://www.elonex.co.../etouch/1012et/

I wish I could help, but since I don't own a Z102, I can't tell you for sure, but it does look like it (although it could just be a "clone")....

Hopefully motherofallbattles or F&LSuperstore who sells the Z102 will read this and can tell you if it is the exact same product....

If not you can email atp_uestc and ask him (his email is in his signature) if he doesn't read this and respond....

Cheers
