I need help getting angry birds to work on my ainol novo 7 paladin..I reset to default settings and now I can get apps off the android market just not certain ones?

1/ i have'nt had any success with full rooting too... but to those who need to go back to stock firmware for whatever reason, get your firmware from here

I did the "plug USB in while holding the volume+ button, then press power 6 times" thing and now i can't get my device to power on...!
How do i fix this??

Ran this script to root an Eken T01A Allwinner tablet. It didn't root . Superuser, Root Check and RON Toolbox all concur. Is it actually not suitable for this device, please?

Revamped - Got rid of the superfluous (kill bluetooth for instance... there is not bluetooth apk file to kill(rename)... changed that and other stuff). T*arseelhof did great work on this tool but it was originally meant for another device or perhaps general purpose so a little overhauling and streamlining was in order i felt.

--Modifies your "build.prop" file to improve Android Market Search Results, Internet Browsing Speed (we think ...), App compatibility (we know...), Camera Picture and Record Quality (maybe?...)

--Also includes the optional choice to disable services that drain battery life... like 3G and Telephony...

--This great tool was heavily based off of T*arseelhof's original rooting script (some of it is identical...) and the Android APK modding package! Thanks!

That "Ready2Go" option is the one that installs a bunch of stuff. Also, it copies over the backup files for ADW launcher (the new UI on 1.8t firmware) that lays out apps the way I like them . To get this to work (if you want it) just restore from backup (it is an ADW launcher option) and the restart ADW. It will however leave you with a bunch of "blank" widgets that need to be deleted. Launchers can never backup widgets correctly...

It also sets the base/persistant - language/location/timezone to all USA East Coast...

It also kills a couple of the "chinese only" apps that are annoying. Save one... It leaves the backgrounds collection app as the backgrounds it has are really slick...

I am going to update it at some point with the lates IRIS apk as that is another cool app that works now that we have voice search ...

Tell me if you run into any snags... Getting past step 1 (getting the device connected) I think will be the biggest hurdle but this is no different than T*arseelhof's original script in that regards. Options 1 - 3 are all totally his and untouched .

I've been trying to run this script unsuccessfully. I don't know why. I'm running the 1.6 upgrade. I had upgraded to ICS but found it much too unstable. One problem I've noticed with Windows 7 is the problem it seems to have with really connecting to Android tablets.

I was thinking of installing Ubuntu Linux in parallel on my Windows machine and installing the Android SDK. Do you think that method would create a better connection? I also have 2 MAC machines.

Any ideas on the success factor?

Hi,

The script is a fantastic idea...brilliant work.

Can anyone tell me if this has worked for a "Pipo U1Pro" or a "Momo7 RK3066" tablet? They have not yet arrived here, but I am keen to be able to root them both when they are delivered.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also, can CWM be put onto these Tablets too, I read somewhere that CWM will not work on the U1Pro, but only on the basic U1?

Apologies to all, I am new and have not got used to the layout of this forum. I seem to have replied to a post about a different tablet.
Still I really could do with an answer or two for my questions though if anyone could oblige.
I did read somewhere that the script would work on the Pipo U1Pro and the Momo7 3066, but I really need confirmation as I don't want to damage my new machine.

**IMPORTANT PRE-CHECK LIST**

Connect your tablet using the OTG port (normal procedure)
- YOU MUST USE THE INCLUDED USB CABLE
Make sure USB Debugging is ENABLED
- Settings --> Applications --> Development --> USB debugging (Green Checkmark)
Make sure to check Device Manager to ensure that there aren't any devices with a yellow exclamation mark.
- Right Click on My Computer --> Manage Device --> Device Manager
