Can someone help me sort out my Magic Album weather widget missing info.

I recently managed to upgrade from 1.6 to 2.0 on my Eken M001.

Everything seems to work well....certainly much better than the 1.6 version I had.

However one casuality was the weather widget which now doesn't display the temperature ...just 0 degs C or F.
but it does tell me the humidity and the generalised weather.

Has anyone had a similar issue & can point me in the direction of a fix? thks
