I don't have a spare SD card on me at the moment (I will have to order one). Is there any chance of rolling the updates inc. 4 so I can install to the inbuilt SD?

I would appreciate it, thanks.

The latest update works for me, but I do have a lot of troubles getting to the external sdcard, seems like it's not being seen all the time or something like that. 'File manager' can sometimes not browse it, and trying to install an .apk from it resulted in the file not being found quite often.
As for other file management apps, ES File Explore crashes directly

I can not access folders also using latest update (i have no external sd)
I tried file manager and es file explorer.
installs from root of internal work via file manager but cannot browse folders ;)

great work though fards , looks real promising :D

edit : also superuser keeps flashing up (accept or deny screen) so I can not select accept , after a few tries it just errors (trying to install chainfire)

I can however go into SU app and allow it from there (not sure if its a prob with CF or me but thought I would mention it)

excellent work fards! as usual, you're damn fast :)

(little question; did you had compile errors on audio modules saying something about hdmi-audio bla bla? i'd really love a hand on fixing audio in .38)

I've also gave it a shot, was curious how well this alpha release would be running.. and wow the boot time is just astonishing, the overall experience is somehow limited but hey this ain't an alpha for no reason, nonetheless really great work Fards! Thanks a lot, keep it coming and you'll definitely make the hpad the best, especially with such a good price/performance ratio :)

Greetings!

i had the file manager selection problem, i found if you get the keyboard to show, then you can select things, and for superuser i automatically put it to allow, hope that helps, and amazing work fards so far

Read the first post! I've said about the file manager, and a workaround!
The su issue is exactly the same. I've now worked out the reason, back key is being registered on boot and treated as if its being continually pressed. Now to work out a) why N ) why pressing power button on and off stops it, c ) how to stop it from happening

This ROM install to the built in NAND as almost every other ROM. An external SD was required before but the contents on the card did not matter.

The updates are only new kernels so you only need to flash the original zip followed by the latest kernel.

the only "rolled update" there will be, is when this becomes stable enough/works well enough to be something no longer aimed purely at developers and becomes suitable for general users.

Until then.

No.

@Fards:

i tried to work on the buttons but didn't manage to activate them. Which file did you fix to got some of them working?

By the way, is it me or the screen/fonts seems to be stretched (i know that it's a cosmetic issue, but i wanted to know if it's a known issue or just my tab)?

Update #5 in first post..

Oh its a goodie :D

ps: Lp0 now appears to be working.. does seem to screen on in events, but other than that should finally have a proper suspend mode !

if someone has a hdmi cable handy can you check and see if it scales/outputs at 1080p ?

Update does improve overall smoothness indeed! :D MX Player still won't play my 720p MKV's smooth though :( (there's not a lot of difference in performance between software and hardware) Oh well, at least hardware acceleration does work, even when it's not as fast yet :)

Again, you can't imagine how much I appreciate the work you're putting into this! You're FAST, what you've done normally takes weeks for an entire team.

My first post...just to say many thanks to fards for his efforts on 3.2.

Awaiting my (hopefully) xxx53 tablet on Friday from ebuyer...looking forward to rooting and flashing.

What would people recommend? A better 2.2 or straight into a 3.0?

Feel its still a bit early for a flash of the 3.2, given my lack of rom-manipulation ability!!
