Dude, decided to go with the official version (released by haipad) and it is awesome.

Have not used it much but the initial impression looks good what with 3g working, responsiveness is lot more smoother and even am able to download from market without problem... Try this out if you are interested (Thanks for whoever posted Ist here in slatedroid:D)

EDIT: Played 1080/720 HD videos with mxvideo player and they are buttery smooth. Havent tried youtube, so cant comment on that as I hardly ever use it!

Great, if you manage that i will try it!
Can you try some youtube HQ video's in the app itselve?
How is playback? Is it the same as before (lagging on some video's), or is is now good?

I tried in my Rena3 (without 3G) and doesn't works, when I start the tablet only MID logo appears and then shutdown

My device buttons realy bad its white ugly buttons you need to pust very hard to work.. also 1 speaker.. built-in 3G.. and your firmware didnt work it freezed on Android logo.. and its very hard to Re-flash another firmware to recovery.. need to push - volume + power button then reset button to shutdown device..

maybe the uboot and uimage is not compatible with your device...

What's your original kernel version?

You can try the hybrid v2 though...

I tried it.

Install was great, no problems at all.

But the videoplayback is still not great, HQ in youtube app still laggy, and in browser also not great.

So i wanted to reflash my old firmware (0827), the volume + and powerbutton doesnt work anymore its now volume - and power.
But the worst of all it gives an error when reflashing.

No real reason, failed after (trying?) make eMMC partion.

Also when i try new 0908 firmware same error.

Any ideas?

Edit:

When i pressed volume - and + and the the power button i could install the old firmware back.

Hi, I'm testing the new FW and it's great, 1080p mp4 clips works pretty cool, youtube via app works fine in 480 even now works in the browser.

For now, the only thing that doesn't works is the animated wallpapers, any solution?

Maybe you need to reinstall the wallpapers...My animated wallpaper works fine

btw, my device wont vibrate ? also in android what is the problem ? now I`m using 0908 firmware for 1st generation..Camera not working..

If an animated wallpaper doesn't show up after setting it (but works in wallpaper preview) just restart launcher by going to Homescreen> Menu button (the capacitive touch button) > Preference > Restart LauncherPro. After LauncherPro restarts, your animated wallpaper will be available

Thanks for a great ROM. I've tried most of the ROMS made available and so far this is the best. I'm holding a 1000+ version RENA (the one with sim slot but no 3G capability.) and i can confirm that i works very well. Is this a mix of 2.2 and 2.3? When will I have a 2.3 or 3.2 Daskalos ROM?
