Hey guys I have just recently bought the Hannspree this week (which i'm loving so far) but I cannot seem to get any picture showing on my TV using the following HDMI cable http://www.amazon.co...ref=oss_product). When your on the correct channel and everything's plugged in should the picture just appear on my TV? Ive noticed that if music is playing on my pad it will stop when I'm on the correct channel but no picture transfers to my TV. Do you need a certain video app to make it display on the TV or am I doing something wrong? HDMI works perfectly with my xbox, just not my Hannspad I'm using the latest version of HannsTitan by the way (V3.1)

Does your tv support 1080p?

Yeah I'm pretty sure it supports 1080 as that's what it shows when I load up my Xbox, this is the TV that I use http://hdtv-reviews-...8bj-review.html

I had the same problem when using hannstitan.

honeycomb rom got it to show up but the screen is cut off and not full.

It is 720p though

1080i not 1080p. Is XBOX 360 even 1080p?

Ahh XBOX 360 does, thought it used to only do 1080i

Ah ok, thanks. Illl have to try honeycomb when I get the chance sometime. Is this a known problem with Tannstitan? Apart from the HDMI prob I'm enjoying this rom a lot and it doesn't even compare to the stock!

Its not a known problem but its one I at least had.
Its worth a try if HDMI is important to you

Try flashing this zip from clockwork mod http://blair.be/hann...0pBuildProp.zip

it should set the hdmi out to 720p if it works, ive not tried it myself

I just flashed the zip and it fixed my problem so I can watch videos on my TV now too, cheers Alpha232! Maybe you could add this file as an optional add-on on your Hannstitan thread? Cheers for the Rom by the way, its awesome!

Glad it worked, I've been meaning to test that setting for a while so good to know the system actually uses it!

you would need to edit gtabcomb's build.prop

you're looking for the lines

persist.tegra.dpy5.mode.width=1280
persist.tegra.dpy5.mode.height=720

If they're not there you can just add them in.

You can always copy/edit gtabcomb's build.prop from it's zip and replace the one in the titan update i posted above with it - if that makes sense

Sorry to sound like a noob but how do you flash this file in clockworkmod? I edited the build.prop and replaced the build.prop out of the zip with the edited one and re-zipped it? What now?

Save to SD on tablet, boot into clockworkmod and choose install zip from SD card

Thats what I thought? But it just says installing then underneath that it says installation aborted.
I'm confused and also the build.prop already on the tablet didn't have that line about screen output Res so I put it in and tryed that just says the same but!!! In my internel sdcard there's the Default.prop which has screen output Res in it? Shouldn't I have to change this .Prop file and not the build.prop?
I am running Gtabcomb btw!

it's easier to make a file from the old zip and delete the build.prop from it then add the new one

If you're making a new zip make sure it has 0 compression

Hi all, trying to download the above to set my HDMI output to 720 but the link seems to be dead? anyone have a copy or know of a mirror that google doesn't know about
