As Devs are working day and night to port "Android" on Touchpad, In the meantime why not optimize your Touchpad. Please "Do it at your own RISK" I'll not be responsible if you brick or any thing happens to your touchpad.

Lets see the difference between two touchpads left side one is not optimized as compared to the right hand side which is fully optimized.

All credit goes to TouchPadPlus.com for excellent screen shots and excellent tutorials and write up.

1) Fist of all lets do the system update LINK
2) Set Logging to Minimum LINK
3) How to turn ON developers mode LINK
4) Install JAVA runtime LINK
5) Install webOS Quick Install LINK
6) Install Optimizing Packages LINK
7) Overclock your Touchpad from 1.2 Ghz to 1.5 Ghz or more* LINK

I hope that will help. Please leave your comments and share what difference you have felt after optimization. Good Luck!!

* Warning!! Overclocking can damage your CPU and it may drains more power from your battery but it does bring your TouchPad to the next level..
