Fix "Droplets" on the Screen
Many people are complaining about "droplets" on the screen, which are very noticeable ripples that occur when you touch the tablet. They are worse when pressure is applied to the back. It is happening because the circuit board right up against the screen. Adding a spacer between will resolve much of that issue, and with a little tweaking could fix it entirely.
1. Open the tablet.
2. Take a brown paper shopping bag (like from the grocery store) and cut a piece that's 10" x 3.5" in size.
3. Fold the paper in half, then in half again, so it's 4 sheets thick. The final size should be about 3.5" by 2.5"
4. Slide it underneath the circuit board (should go smoothly) to match what you see in that picture to the right. Apply a small piece of tape to keep it in place

I should have been made with a harder material.
A great tablet for a chinese tablet.

The ripples are annoying, that's for sure. There's no picture in your post though, could you post a link? Did you try cardboard, think that would work? Any ideas whether this may cause heat issues?

Watch this video, seems pretty easy. In the 'stickies' above, the 'teardown' one.

it was easy to open, my speaker cable is soldering in and looks fragile, so i suggest others to be careful
i folded up paper and put that under helped a little, will look at doing something else at some other point. I'll also include some pics at some point too
Main reason for me opening it was to see if i could get rid of a pea sized blemish centre of the screen under a mobo chip; can't get rid of the dark patch, think the screen is permanently damaged, although sometimes it seems to be 'nudgable'. Any suggestions?
the dark patch is under a copper coil chip, i thought it might be EM interference so i put some insulated tin foil under, don't think it helped. hmmm, piece of crap if you ask me, wouldn't buy again.. rather from a known brand

Known brands also have issues... but they certainly have better QC at the factory, hehe. When you buy a Chinese tablet, buy from someone who actually inspects and tests the product before they ship it out. Since the factory isn't doing it, make sure the store you are buying it from actually IS... and not just saying that they are.
low, factory-direct prices on Android devices
