That is all there is to it, the only thing I was doing wrong was flashing to Splash, instead of logo. All the tutorials for the android phone said splash, but I guess our tablet's partition is named logo.

IT'S ALIVE!!!! It worked (at 24 bit while 16 bit just showed a bunch of lines).

I had to copy the adb dlls from the platform-tools folder to make it work though.
I also had to flash twice before it would take, but, after doing so I had success.

You should always check to see if the device is seen first by typeing: fastboot devices
If there's nothing shown, then you'll have to manually update the device driver.
Go to device manager, find the android phone or android device, update the driver, pick android phone/device instead of searching, then choose the android fastboot interface.

Now I have a beautiful boot logo rather than the "cute" Herotab Wolverine-ish & Superman-ish logo.

Sorry if this is obvious, but i downloaded "Rom Toolbox" inside there are loads of new start up options, you can also change the icons, and much more, works for me anyway, my new splash screen start looks great compared to the flashinf "ANDROID! it had before! and its free ;-)
