Hello all,
While installing the new firmware 0629, I happened upon this website www.inle.cc who seems to be the developer of firmware for the T9. Thanks to Google Translate I browsed around the Chinese website and found that they sell the T9 there under the name of Epad M728. They kindly provide a download section with firmware and have a newer version of t9 firmware namely 0706. The changes for this firmware are as follows: (translated from Chinese)
Application System: Android Add Time :2011 -7-9 File size: 84.36MB
Brief:
1, the upgraded version of bootloader, to enhance the stability of the support for EXT4
2, Fixed Brush command, format the hard disk as EXT4, speed is much faster, and stable
3, note that according to "instructions" operation, first upgrade the bootloader, once again into the brush machine interface "clean installation."
0706 liters update:
1 to change the system and data partition file system (to change into ext4), increase system speed and stability
(2) increase the capabilities to restore the factory default
3. Wifi can not remember the password change bug
4 to solve some gameloft games are not allowed to display and touch issues
5 should be part of the customer, will shut down the desktop to open the assembly and fade out of the assembly off
6. Increase comes with adobe flash apk, restore the factory default value, no need to install adobe flash.
Here is the link to the page to download this latest firmware. This evening I will post the firmware on yousendit so that it becomes easier to download without the hurdles of deciphering Chinese hieroglyphics.

Also note that the RAR file has a new boot loader image. A bat file is included which should be able to flash the new (allegedly more stable) bootloader into your T9.
The RAR file does have Chinese text, so if you would like, I will provide a English version this evening.
Also, the RAR file has a Bat. file which gives the option to erase the userdata and cache, BUT YOU MUST EDIT THE BAT FILE to reflect the proper folders on your T9.
Or if you would like to upgrade and preserve the userdata simply use the other bat file in the RAR archive, which works just fine (I used it this morning, without needing any editing).

Awesome find!
Keep us posted once you have the "modified" version uploaded with the files that are a bit more English based to understand/run.
Thanks!

I see there's a new firmware on inle.cc titled 2.3_0827. It's not currently available for download though, it looks like some people bricked their tablet trying to install it.
