I got mine yesterday and put GtabComb on it running Honeycomb. What a difference. I'm still new to the Android world and I'm trying to discover which are the best apps to install on it.
I think that the main usage for it will be to read books - so I've already added Kindle and Aldiko.
Any tips'n'tricks from "öld" and expert Android users and/or eReaders are welcomed ;).
Regards, Adi

Hi all,

Sorry to burst in like this...but I can't open yet my own thread...

but I'm having real doubts in getting the Hannspad or the Flying Touch 3.
The main obstacle I see is that the Hannspad does not have 2 USB ports & camera(not needed anyway) but it seems a bit faster than the FT3 with its dualcore.
The main use I want to give it is to:
- Remote Control my HTPC, access its files (movies, pics and some apps) and view it on the tablet.
- Internet browsing
- Reading magazines and e-books

Will the Hannspad perform these functions better than the FT3?

I thank you in advance for your input and sorry again for jumping in into this thread...

Kind regards,
Ken

I'm shortly joining the Hannspree owners club, have had a TV and PC monitor from them for a few years now both going strong so I had some confidence in the brand. Think I'll get Honeycomb on it fairly soon though, should be delivered this week fingers crossed.

Hi I have one as well.
But I am only running a stock 1653 to-date.
However together with a bluetooth mouse installed and a couple of sat nav apps
(copilot and igo 8 ) I have a car based system that plays music, films and
a 10 inch navigation system which is streets (pun intended) ahead.

Plus kindle games and other various apps installed
besb
Commodore 64, Original Apple Mac, a few PCs (8) from windows3 to win7 ultimate.
50 years on and still hoarding them.
Now the proud owner of a Hannspad 1653 flashed to Hannstitan

I've just picked up a SN70T31B Hannspad - a 7" model, is there more common name for it? People appear to refer to their pads by the chipset?
