Hi Xoom owners,

I'd like to start a discussion about our collective experiences with Android 3.1 or 3.2 (if you're lucky enough to get an update) from when it hits the airwaves, upgrading issues, first impressions, early tips and tricks, anything really to generate a decent discussion as this is the upgrade we're all waiting for.

I suppose the first logical questions would be:

Which countries have upgrade ability so far?
Has anyone upgraded yet?

Thanks,

Alb3rt

I meant to mention, I'm UK based, and my tab certainly has not had any updates made available yet.

It's rumored that US xoomers got the 3.2 upgrade recently. Is that true? Or any source to share?

Yep, US and Australian users have 3.1 for 3G/ WiFi already, and the US have 3.2 for WiFi only already.

I resorted to not waiting and used the Tiamat Xoom Rom 2.0.0 then 2.0.1 from XDA:

All you need is CWM recovery 3.4.0.0 r4 installed, file system unlocked, tablet rooted and then install 2.0.0 first them boot it up and then install 2.0.1 over the top via CWM.

If you have 3G there is a line of instruactions on what 3G related files to backup and restore to get 3G working.

I must say, 3.2 works soooooooooo well compared to 3.0.1!!
