This is my friend's Zeepad, it is locked out right now and I need to reflash it back to factory. But I would rather download a custom rom and load that baby up. Which custom rom do I need for this zeepad? Would I go ahead and load the custom rom on a TF card?

I believe that is a ZT-180 v2 tablet (512MB RAM/HDMI Out/Camera)....

Seems you have the original ZT-180 10"tablet and you ar on the 1030 ROM from 2010....

There are many steps you have to take to get to the latest ROM....

thanks for the help i installed android Eclair firmware 110117 and now can install from sd but i still don't know what custom rom i should install. any suggestions

Hi guys,

I need help. I got Zt180 for a present. I have only this information (which I now doubt pretty much) that it has 1GHz clock, 512Mb of RAM and 4GB ROM. That it had Android 2.1 and was upgraded to Android 2.2. No information about model number, serial number or original firmware. It also has no camera or hdmi. When I turned it on only linux pinguin amd ANDROID with fleshing cursor appear (I noticed it is common problem here). So I first tried to flash it with burning tool and 1030 fw. Process ended without error (it seemed like it was very short time like in 1 min) but nothing happened after that. So I did little more research and opened it and saw that it has green motherboard, so that meant it is v2 g2 model. I then tried to flash it with sd card with several firmwares (one of them omarahum proposed in post #105 firmware 0613), also 0603, and 0730. Still nothing changes. Please help me, I don't have any ideas left what to do...

As I posted this I got information that it was originally flashed with 0827. So I did that and now is working! That means that I have device from v1 series original zt180 right? What firmware would you recommend me to upgrade it next and how? Using burning tool or I could now upgrade only with sd card?

If you are using the 0827 ROM from 2010, you only have burntool flashing capability, sdcard flashing capability didn't come till after (not including) the 1030 ROM.... So you will need to do the same steps that is posted to get to a ROM with sdcard flashing capability....

Thank you for the reply! Could you tell me what is the best/latest firmware I could upgrade to which would be most reliable and get the best out of this device? Can I upgrade to the latest firmware just at once, just by flashing it again in the same way?

i have the zeepad eBook 512 ram 4 gig hard drive and the screen turns white due to sleep time i was able to disable it off while charging and cant turn it off manually im thinking a reflash in order but need rom for android 4.0 its 7inc zeepad 7.0 and i need help on re flash and do a custom rom im thinks its android 4.0 fault actually and not faulty screen effect its brand new im thinking on down grading to jellybean please help

If it's a zeepad with a All Winners Boxchip A13 Cortex A8 CPU, it's not a Zenithink tablet.....

Unfortunatly there hasn't been much activity in there, and I think the only custom ROM was made by SMaxtor for your version tablet, but all the links are dead...

Yeah, it looks like your friend has the Original 10" ZT-180 (B0 board), and is currently on the 1204 Eclair ROM....

Do you know the screen resolution? Is it 1024x576 or 1024x600?

So all the ROMs in this (ZT-180) forum should work wth it.... The last official ROM was the 0324 the last unofficial is the 0603...

Buenas yo también tengo un problema parecido cargando la img mediante liveSuite que supuesta-mente me dijeron que era la suya me dio un fallo de (upgrade fail) y letras chinas raras y desde entonces el pc no me la reconoce por estar dañada y no consigo ponerla en modo flash , he intentado bajarme la rom desde zeepad.net y nada no funciona el enlace de descarga de la rom de todas formas le he mandado un correo electrónico a la empresa de allwinner pidiendo si fueran tan amables de facilitarme la rom para zeepad allwiner A13 cortex-A8.Si logro obtenerla y darle solucion ya sea por ellos o por otro lado la compartiré encantado.saludos.
