Does your ePad boot to Android ? Then look: Settings - About device - Build number.
Or does it stuck on some stage of booting ? Then give MODEL from sticker with a barcode.

Hi yes it does boot android so I will look tonight and get the build number. I have had a look inside and there is no sticker with a barcode on.

Hi my build number is P7901a-eng 2.1 update1 ere27 eng.wwang.20100830.105450 test-keys.

You have very old firmware (more than one year old).
You have to update in two stage.
At first to, for example, ROM 0324: http://www.slatedroi...d-instructions/
Then to the last 0603 ROM: http://www.slatedroi...gb-22-rom-0603/

I recently went through these same steps, as I went from the original V1 build to a modified 603. My Zenithink is now a much different tablet/pad (faster/usuable/fun). You should have no issues once you get past burntool steps. Flashing from microSD is so much easier than using the burn tool .. but you will have to use the burntool until you reach a certain build ....

This should be a piece of cake for you.. there are awesome people on this forum willing to assist ..

It depends on what you are using the pad for.
Which ROM did you install finally ?

You have a ZT-180 10" v2 tablet (probably a G2 board). You have one of the latest ROMs available, the 0730. There is a 0808 ROM, but I haven't found anyplace to download it from....

Aosp openmaster eng.root.20110115.120935.test

This firmware is still very old.
As I wrote earlier, update now to the last 0603 ROM: http://www.slatedroi...gb-22-rom-0603/ .

Done. Checked via settings and it says 0601? Seems faster and I have done Tx power mod and changed screen sensitivity.

Model: ZT180102ASRTA1020S6
Serial Number: c0101030r60000000101
Ram 256mb or 512mb: When i check the system info app under "dashboard" it says RAM max:184mb Free: 50mb (sounds like I'm quite far from 256??)
Flash Memory (Internal Storage) Size : Internal memory under the same dashboard section says Max:384mb free: 285.8mb (could be viewing the system info wrong?)
Does your ZT-180 Have a HDMI output port? Not sure what this should look like but theres a port beside the power button with an icon that has 3 squares, then on the top is, headphones, USB, OTG, & DC.
Does your ZT-180 Have a Built in Camera? No
Android Version: android2.1-update1-20101030
Kernal Version: 2.6.32.9 usbandroid#1608
Build Number: zt180-eng 2.1-update 20101030
Mother Board (PC Board or PCB) Color and Version Number: not sure and not comfortable opening it
Any Rom's (Firmware) you have Flashed or tried to flash onto your ZT-180 and where they came from: i bought this from someone online who i believe updated/flashed this in some way. not sure exactly how. it was not stock out of box. it already had icons like "superuser permissions" and "universal Androot" on it. I'm assuming these are added after this type of customization?

boot.logo
system.pack.img
userdata.pack.img
zImage
zImage_1024x576
zImage_1024x600

(cant even remember where I downloaded this .rar I've been trying so many)

I am 100% new at this stuff and all I want to do is either make this a more stable/faster/cooler tablet, or flash it etc so I can get my info off it and resell. My apologies for the lack of some above info needed. I'm just not familiar with this product. I only have a mac osx and not even sure if this can be done with the tools required as all I seem to find are windows tools. ie: burntool application. I may have looked up all that info for nothing lol.

Is there any way to get this done and set up with the newest ROM? Any help would be appreciated. I'm not too bad at hacking into iphones and customizing things, but this is a whole other ballgame to me lol.

Thx in advance!

at this time i think you have the most up to date rom you can get on your zt-180 if it is really a V2 512ram 2gb memory you have 0730 rom and right not the newest if 0808 but the only version that is out is for the V2 512 ram 4gb memory it is said to have better sound. So if we wait a little while maybe there will be a version for us..........
ZT-180 Original V1 256/2gb B0 Ruby V1.4 1024x600 -- Battery IC (U8) Removed -- Battery Original -- Rom Froyo 2.2 0603 No-Bat35
ZT-180 V2 512/2gb G2 Jade V2.3 Green 1024x600 -- Battery IC (U35) Removed -- Battery Upgrade 4250mAh -- Rom Froyo 2.2 0618 No-Bat35

Nexus 7 16gb (Pre-Order)

If all else fails download the file again to make sure the one you are using is not corrupted

You would be amazed at what information you find if you just read the fourms and the wiki
