im flashing the 4-26 firmware using Reimar guide (Recover, change or upgrade), i have download the 5 files. i skip the 3-11 process because is giving me error. i go for the 4-26 and success but with 8GB only.
Now i wanna start flashing. Inside the 4-26 folder i found a file (fdiskcmd.txt.old), in my process i will copy the fdiskcmd-16GB (from the 3-11 fdisk folder) to the 4-26 folder and rename as 'fdiskcmd', then i will start flashing with mfgtool.
Question is:-
1) do i need to delete / rename the 'fdiskcmd.txt.old'?????
2) after i got error flashing 3-11, do i need to clean up my sdcard again(using diskpart) before flash 4-26??
3) Inside the 5 files got a 'Mfgtools-Del 1.6.2.032', should i use this to flash or use the one came inside the firmware folder???
thank you

- I had deleted the xx.txt.old files
- I would fully reformat again
- use the one inside the firmware folder (there should also an def file for the MfgTool)
Normally you should flash first with 3-11 and after that again (without re-formatting) with 4-26 FW.
That's how I do it and that works.

i can't get it flash on 3-11 (error 256). i just figure out that the error maybe is the fdiskcmd file inside the folder (MX51 Android Update/OS firmware/),when i replace this fdiskcmd file from the 4-26 folder (MX51 Android Update/OS firmware/) to the navster SSv5 folder (MX51 Android Update/OS firmware/) i can successfully flash the SSv5 (Win7 & WinXp) but only with 8GB.
Abit confuse now about the fdiskcmd file now, should i replace the 16GB txt file to the folder in OS firmware or the first folder (with mfgtool)?? or both i need to replace?

Reimar has suggested the correct "fdisk.cmd" file should also be copied to the MfgTool folder but my interpretation of this script is that it does not appear to look here for paritioning instructions but I have put it in there anyway on my 8GB>16GB upgrade pack, the flashing works for me with our without the file in the "MfgTool" folder.
If you are still having difficulty, I have prepared a 16GB-0311 firmware pack here, which I may integrate with my upgrade guide:

Oh well, never mind!
When I was researching the boot and flashing process, I read several references in the Freescale documentation to SanDisk hardware and would therefore recommend buying 16GB SanDisk (it's what i am using).
