Thanks for the information.
I am using Dropad A8X (firmware 20110705) and Elgato DTT (=Hauppauge Nova-T Stick, Id 2040:7050). dvb-core is built into kernel, I think, since it shows in /proc/devices from the beginning. I used dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw and the following modules :

insmod dvb-usb.ko force_pid_filter_usage=1
insmod dvb-pll.ko
insmod dibx000_common.ko
insmod dib0070.ko
insmod dib3000mc.ko
insmod dib7000m.ko
insmod dib7000p.ko
insmod dib8000.ko
insmod dvb-usb-dib0700.ko

However dmesg says that "This USB2.0 device cannot be run on a USB1.1 port". I tried also without force_pid_filter_usage=1. I guess I am out of luck.

<6>dib0700: loaded with support for 13 different device-types
<6>dvb-usb: found a 'Hauppauge Nova-T Stick' in cold state, will try to load a firmware
<6>usb 1-1: firmware: requesting dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw
<3>init: untracked pid 3019 exited
<6>dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw'
<6>dib0700: firmware started successfully.
<6>dvb-usb: found a 'Hauppauge Nova-T Stick' in warm state.
<3>dvb-usb: This USB2.0 device cannot be run on a USB1.1 port. (it lacks a hardware PID filter)
<6>dvb-usb: Hauppauge Nova-T Stick error while loading driver (-19)
<6>usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_dib0700

I think Dropad A8X really has a USB 1.1 host port. The other USB port may be 2.0 one, but I don't think it can be used for this. Maybe I invest some 10 or 20 EUR to get a DVB stick with pid filtering.

Lubo, you have made a great job! From your work I see that you have a good knowledge in Android! Am I right? If yes, can you assist me in firmware support of UART GPS module? Think this will be very useful in our tablet...
If You have found my work useful please DONATE for further hardware development and modifications. Thanks!

Today, I installed drivers from Avermedia to Ubuntu 9.10. So I have both of these kernel modules, but I am not possible to put its in my Android tablet. How can I compile these kernel modules for Linux to kernel modules for Android?

I really want to play DVB-T in my tablet - in school, home etc. Thank you very much !!!

Hi all, the forum is great.

I have problem with my Linux PC and mumudvb

This is my hardware info:
Ubuntu 10.10
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 15a4:9016 Afatech Technologies, Inc. AF9015 DVB-T USB2.0 stick
mumudvb Version 1.6

I can't stream the channels from my server. This is my config for mumudvb

freq=554
dont_send_sdt=1
multicast=0
unicast=1
port_http=1234
ip_http=0.0.0.0
sap=1
autoconfiguration=0
ip=192.168.1.138
name=MTV1
pids=1012

These are the channels scanned with "w_scan"
MTV1;NETTV:554000:I999B8C999D999M999T999G999Y999:T:27500:1011:1012=mac:0:0:1:0:0:0
MTV2;NETTV:554000:I999B8C999D999M999T999G999Y999:T:27500:1021:1022=mac:0:0:2:0:0:0

These are the same channels scanned with "scan"

MTV1:554000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_AUTO:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_32:HIERARCHY_NONE:1011:1012:1

And this is the log from mumudvb console

root@desktops:/var/bin# sudo mumudvb -c dvb-t.conf -s -t -vv -d
MuMuDVB Version 1.6

You decided not to send the SDT pid. This is a VLC workaround.

Hi evrybody!

Great idea and well done Lubo!

I owe a Ainol Hero 10 and a DVB-T AF9015.
I was wondering to use the stuff you compiled when I realized.... maybe they are compiled just for this machine

The Ainol Hero has a AML8726-MX A9 cpu (if i'm not wrong); should I recompile all the pieces?

thank you very much

Help me!
I have dropad A8t with kernel 2.6.35.7 and dvb-t stick af9015.
The usb stick is fine determined, but mumudbv and scan not to works.

I write in terminal /system/xbin/scan/sdcard/dvbscan.conf
File not found
Also with the scan - # /system/xbin/mumudvb -c /sdcard/dvbscan.conf -d -v
File not found.

I understand it is necessary to put in some sort of library folder. Where to?

Hello,
please please, someone handy who could compile the driver for Android devices

DVB-S2 FloppyDTV S2:

http://git.kernel.or...6b4f8327ecf82d0
http://www.linuxtv.o...EEE1394_Devices

For any feedback I will be very grateful.
Have a nice day.
