Here are locations for the rooted N6 and N9 ROMS, defaulting to English:

N9 - capacitive

N6 - resistive, no trackball

I can't test the N6 one myself, because I don't have a resistive device. Used the rkdecrypt tool. So please test.

I've flashed this ROM onto both my wife's and my Apads since Li0nHeart posted the rooted version yesterday, and have pretty much put it through its paces. This is the ROM that the vendor *should* have had installed on the tablet when I bought it three months ago. Thanks again, Li0nHeart, for your work on this one.

The only shortcoming I've found so far with the ROM (as provided by the vendor) is that it doesn't include a camera app. I tried a few from the Market, and Little Photo (https://market.andro...com.littlephoto) appears to work very nicely. Just an FYI to those interested ...

Hi Li0nHeart,

I have got a wopad and have seen three FroYo roms.

TR718D-Froyo-2011-06-10-rls-0.8.1
N9-Froyo-2011-06-09-rooted-english
N9-2.2-2.1升级2.2系统

Could you please let me know which one is the latest one?

Loving how vastly improved the Wopad is now.

With thanks,

IW

Hey,

N9-Froyo-2011-06-09-rooted-english is the stock ROM for Froyo, just rooted.

TR718D-Froyo-2011-06-10-rls-0.8.1 is my version of this ROM. Should work even a bit better. I'd advise this ROM.

By the way, I appreciate that this is probably a very old question but is there any way to get bbc iplayer or flash to work on the wopad with this new rom?

There is new official firmware for n6 (probably for n9 also) from 17. June. It is stable without browser crashing and for me looks faster. I have it rooted but now going to 10-day trip and cannot post my firmware. But I expect LiOnHeart will be handy for that as always (I am only practising and not sure did I do everything properly).

Hello

First, many thanks for the great efforts.
I wanna ask if there is a way to let WOPAD 7001 capactive display arabic / hebrow characters correctly.
The official support of RTL (Right to left) languages is in honeycomb.

Throwing 50$ for the working solution :)

I'd be happy to test out the rooted June 17th image on my Apad once someone's had the opportunity to post it. Looking forward ... :)

flashed 6n froyo on 4g systems onetab, great rom
just stick dont work anymore and 256mb ram issue (onetab has 512m)

but i noticed, got only half points in benchmark linpack (4000 vs 2000 now) , softweg beuchmark (300k vs 160k now)
just antutu speeded up slightly

confusing, anyone else could bench before and after flash

I installed newest adopted N6 firmware on my TR718D. This is so far best ROM for my 7” resistive tablet without trackball, Bluetooth and camera. I am not developer but I rooted it somehow following advices from Li0nHeart and other advanced users, deleted some, for me unnecessary Chinese app, and added Zeam Launcher and English version of Advanced task Manager. If your tablet is similar and you would like to try this ROM I upload it to Mediafare website Link is: http://www.mediafire...acc7d47bx4n4xfc There is also some similar firmware called N6c. I do not know what is difference but WiFi does not work on my tablet and I did not study it further. Maybe it will be better fit for some tablets with additional features like trackball camera and Bluetooth.
