I am waiting to do a normal review of the tablet.
But I have recorded video for the internal review and firmware update.
I hope to get those posted in the next couple days.

If it's alright to ask, when you do the review video could you do some sound tests, maybe a couple of song clips. I like that the T9 has dual speakers I just wonder how they sound. Thanks.

I have to agree that the T9 would be the clear Must Have Tablet in it's price range if it just had a firmware update.
Although fingers crossed this will come soon & maybe they might also bring down the weight just a tad

I asked Merimobiles to post the new update (20110706) has been reported on the forum to be shipping on new T9 units. Oliver from Merimobiles responded that it should be posted on Merimobiles.com very soon (this week).
This is the update which includes the reported Full Marked App.

My experience can be described as "reliable"> At home I have no problems with it, even if I am downstairs (my router is upstairs). I have even been having medium-high strength signal reception in my attached garage and outside in the back yard. Once I go onto the street in front of my house the signal craps out. Overall I don't think the metal is seriously affecting wifi performance.

You can see the size comparisons in a couple of my more recent review videos.
MID816 Review Video - TimeStamp 1:22 & 3:30
The MID816R2 has run almost everything i have asked it to, if it runs it runs well.
The T9 has the same hardware and same performance... it just has a better more responsive/accurate screen... which can make a difference in gaming.
The T9 is heavier and has sharper edges though and is running Froyo.
Whereas the MID816R2 is lighter/software, but not nearly as durable.
It has Gingerbread which was refined/designed for better game performance.
Not an answer I know... just insights.

I have one on order, and I'm trying to match up a case/cover for it.
Thanks.

I was also a bit unhappy with the video playable in your review MrTasselhof. Can you comment on 2.3 making any changes to video play back? I'm not really concerned about 1080p....720p smooth would be nice.
