So the T9 doesnt have Google Market is that correct, if so that would be an easy fix.

It looks like the T9 is just the 8" version of the C9 to me, now looking for factory firmwares.

Yea I figured I could just grab the Market.apk from one of the other tablets and toss it in there.
I will have to verify the google services framework etc... also.

any news on reviews? videos? pictures? haven't seen any yet.

This tablet is kinda new series, right? Is it going to be supported by the company with updates (2.3, and bugfixes) etc. or not? Is it easy to get Full Market to work, also for a newbie? Or will that all be possible from start in the near future? ;)
I apologize for my crappy English in ALL of my Posts already, I hope you understand me. ;)

I haven't recorded videos yet for the device, but it is on my to do list in the near future.
I have taken pictures of the internals.

I believe it will recieve full company support, but I know that with Roger on the case, there is a GREAT chance of a Slatedroid Singularity ROM.

Problem is it's Name, it's too short and has so many synonyms to google for it, youtube it etc.
Who is the company? It's easier to search for it if we write Company infront... AiShuo Benya T9 or something like that.

For you and everyone else who is quite involved in the tablet scene there its easy but for new people who wanna search for reviews, infos, videos it's bad.

I think it looks really good, just that its on 2.2 and no market support? not much community going on here... yet?

ps: may I ask whats a singularity ROM? a custom OS?

Slatedroid Singularity ROM is the series name for OS ROM's that Roger Calver puts out. He has built them for a couple devices now.

Ok, cool. And what's the difference between his OS Rom's and the original Firmware? Bugfixes? New Features? Or general port to, for example, gingerbread? Nice effort from him.

I need to get back and take a look at the factory firmware again Ive been busy building for other tablets.
I will also have to contact Merimobiles again to get a tablet to work on, kinda hard doing it in the dark so to speak !

Oops just noticed on Merimobiles it comes in black. Now if it just had GPS and was still the same price it would be great.

The manufacturing company needs to push out the new firmware, at best with 2.3 gingerbread support... Screenwise and Qualitywise of the Case it's superb, but firmwarewise it's outdated, and no market... if they wanna sell it they have to push it out soon i think.

If they sell enough I hope they will at least get 2.3 soon the hardware isn't too different from the MID816 and that has 2.3.1. I like the look of this tablet better though but I wonder how the sound is, it looks like it has dual speakers.

I'm (supposed) to get an update to 2.3 from my seller. However, my T9 has an issue with a part of the screen not responding, so I have to send it back, which could delay me getting 2.3 a bit.

But: it's a brilliant nice little device! Love it, pity I have to send it back!

How was the sound quality and the battery life I keep seeing different size batteries in these things from 4000 to 6000mah so its hard to guess how long it lasts.

I didn't let it drain, so I don't really know. The speaker did seem quite quiet, but then again, I only used it with headphones, mostly.
