Has anyone tried this yet? Does it really fix the horrible screen angle issue? The issue I am mostly concerned with is when I hold the tablet in portait mode, its hard to see the screen looking at it dead on. Landcape is fine.
I've got it on mine and love it. It only improves the viewing angle in that it reduces fingerprints and the light glaring off them. Definitely worth getting, but won't really do what you're asking.
I gave this screen protector 3 of 5 stars on Amazon:
"This is a split rating review because of the fact that I had made the mistake of trying to remove dust from this film before it had dried, with a microfiber cloth, and it left permanent streaks in the film that I could not remove. I also tried to remove some stray dust that had gotten underneath the film and it left these parts of the film damaged where they would not clear or adhere properly.
A quick replacement (overnight-ed to me with a prompt shipping refund) was eagerly anticipated but turned to disappointment when not one but two of the film cut-out chads that they did for the gTablet's camera were left sticking to the surface and were not going to be removable without damaging the surface.
So that replacement went back to the manufacturer for a refund.
But I was able to use this until I got a replacement (below) and it is very (very) clear, not glass smooth, but certainly not with the orange peel effect of the Zagg products. It does introduce a minor amount of finger drag but also appears to be very protective as well. So if you can get this product on properly (clean your tablet surface three times before you do this and apply in as lint-free a location as you can find, no paper towels!) this might just do it for you.
But for the same price (plus free shipping) I found a three pack of another product from GreatShield that did not require water or soap (or soapy fingers) and that had a harder, smoother, near-invisible surface (AND that did not need drying before use) that I am much happier with now just with the first application. And the fact that I've got two more of these as spares (or replacements), means many more years of invisible protection.
Sorry XtremeGUARD. I tried but could not get this to work for me but again, this might just be my isolated experience."
I'll post my review of the GreatShield screenguard as well to help others choose. Hope that helps.
