I cannot be held liable for anything you do to your tablet. It's all your own fault if it runs off in the middle of the night or decides to pee in that corner where you would not notice it anyway. Also, if you flash my rom, and it breaks, that's not my fault. You read this disclaimer, laughed, and still decided to do so all by yourself.
For who is this rom?
It's for geeks that want to live on the bleeding edge of new software, and know their way around Android, CM7 and are not afraid to flash the device.
I cannot handle 'end user support' so don't come into this topic asking for help. We'll expect you to sort things out mostly yourself.
If an app or a feature doesn't work, it is not the rom's fault, and it would probably not have worked on the original Urbetter kernel/2.3.1 rom as well.
Kernel bugs?
I cannot correct bugs or problems in the kernel. These include 'vold' not mounting /sdcard or /extsd or /emmc, and usb-otg stuff.
I didn't break it. Complain to urbetter for not releasing the source, don't post about it in this topic, please.
Anyway, what to say. I ported over what came with urbetters' 2.3.1 rom, and kanged it into shape to proudly present to you:
Cyanogenmod 7.1.0-RC0-Dropad-Asure-Kang
Here's a quick overview of all the juicy goodness you'll be getting:
- Full-featured Gingerbread 2.3.4 AOSP
- Cyanogen exclusive: Tablet tweaks enabled
- Cyanogen exclusife: Soft buttons enabled
- Everything regarding the tweaks or buttons can be configured as you wish.
- See Settings -> Cyanogen Settings -> Tablet Tweaks
- Very lean rom (All Chinese crapware is removed)
- Wifi works
- Full 3d support, Hardware OpenGL works
- Touchscreen works
- Input/Buttons works
- Battery charge/indicator etc. works.
- OMX works (v0.3+)
- Camera works (v0.3+)
- Rooted (v0.3+)
- More languages than you can shake a stick at. (v0.4+)
- Full market (Skype and friends can be found & downloaded.)

And these are the lame parts that need some extra attention when i feel like it:

- HDMI output (both video/audio is broken atm.)
- Orientation sensor needs tweaking (it works, but is iffy.)
- For M7+ boards: No bluetooth support yet.
- External 3G dongles not working yet.
Kernel/Overclocking
Ah. No.. not yet!
Once progress is made on the 2.6.35.7 kernel, that could be integrated as well.
Right now the included kernel is still from Urbetter, and has some missing stuff. If they do decide to release a better kernel, i'll shoehorn that into my rom.
What about GAPPS
Basic lean gapps are included for now, and you'll need to get the remaining ones from the market.
Again, these are not included and have become must-downloads from the market:
- Gmail
- YouTube
- Maps
- Talk
- And some more that i can't think of now.
Google doesn't want un-approved devices running the Google apps suite, so i can't include them.
Note: To see market, add a Google account first, otherwise stuff may not appear as an available app.
