Here is a link to the USB drivers for the Iconia Tab A500. I assume they are ADB drivers but I haven't been able to try it out yet. Just thought I'd get the Iconia forum started.

The driver allows transfer to/from the tab from your pc. I think it's safe to assume that they also contain the ADB drovers as I was able to use it (still no root tho )

I downloaded the USB drivers and have installed them.

I used them to create a new "root" procedure where I
used the USB connection to load Gingerbreak.apk into
/sdcard so I could install and use it (as opposed to ADB).

Works really good, but it is not quite as nice as the
G-Tablet driver which lets you work with the folders
(create, delete, rename, etc.) just like a local drive.
The Acer driver is more basic and basically only lets
you copy in and out intact. (Hope I said that right!)
