I've been looking at this model for a while now.

Seems like it has about everything I would want in a tab of that size.

Any idea on when they will actually be available?

Have read nothing on shanzhaiben or any major news sources. Either these guys are extremely low key, or these units are not ready for mass production. Give it till the end of May.

Short answer - no. The C8 is cheaper and available now. If and when C9 ever ships, the C8 will likely stay at a lower price point.

I see Rena is pushing a dual core 7 " Cortex 8 tablet at a low price. Never heard of them before. But something like that might undercut the C8 eventually.
(Then again, maybe not, depending on build quality and support.)

I might of missed something really obvious. But comparing this to a c8 and the only difference i can see is the c9 has GPS, doesn't seem to be worth it for an extra 50$ imo.
