I need a tablet that can handle an Ethernet port/manual IPv4 Settings. I configure devices that connect via ethernet on a regular basis and would like to use a tablet to do so. I see a lot of cheap tablets on the market like this one - http://www.dealextre...05-arm926-42070 but I am not sure how reliable they are.

I don't need to use them for anything other than configuring my equipment. The requiremenets are the tablet needs an ethernet port somehow so I can set a  manual IPv4  and then load a configuration from an sd card or micro sd card or something via web interface.

Thanks for any help.

I would say the Zenithink ZT-180 is excellent for that. I use mine for to connect at home with RJ45 to my network using TCP/IP v.4

Head over to the ZT-180 forum: http://www.slatedroi....php?board=96.0

i have this one and use the rj45
you can connect a keyboard and mouse and use it as a netbook

only problem is that spetime you get a tab wih a 24 pin instead of a 30pin ( ipod ) AND YOU CAN NOT EXTENd that one yet.
so you have heavy rj45 cable hangig from you tab with  small connector holding it
