Original firmware Eken M002

Dear All,

I bought an EKEN M002 device at the end of 2010. I did not work with the tab at all since then.
Now I want to start working with the tab (mostly E-reader).

What is the best way to upgrade the tab? Use the original ekengroup firmware Android 2.0 or install the Slatedroid Mercury Beta?

hi , can any one tell why my eken m002 has flickering screen after upgrade with offical rom from eken ?
also touch screen npt work , and wifi config keeps flashing on the screen.
can anyone help?

i dont think it matter , but wifi was not working form a time , and i ugraded to see if it can work or not, now , original 1.6 lost.

I would advise against stock fw... it is rather sluggish and limited in function...

anybody knows how to upgrade an eken m-002? I've download from eken's web, i follow the instruction and it doesn't do nothing. Thanks.

Okay, all the above links do not work, and on ekengroup.com downloads page I can't find M002 firmware... Does any1 have a copy of this firmware and could upload it somewhere? Or give a link, if they have changed? If it is possible to install any newer version of Android than 1.6 it would be great. From reading this topic i understood that i can install also the M009 firmware, is that true?
