Original firmware Eken M002

Where do I find it?

You can recover to factory, settings, sd card memory scroll to bottom and recover to factory.  Deletes anything added after factory though.

Sorry for my english.
If I install custom ROM, and then I try to recover the factory settings from the menu, only the installed ROM will be resetted, not the origonal one. So I need the original 1.6 ROM for my Eken 256M.

Thank you, but it is not solved my problem. Installed, but only the power button unlock the screen, but then the screen does not work. Maybe my machine is not an Eken 256M? Strange, but many 1.8-1.9 Eken 256M firmware are worked my machine. Whatever, I need an original 1.6 firmware.

I have successfully updated my Eken M002 128mb with Eken M009 firmware, everything is working, memory installed now show 256mb of memory and firmware shows Android 2.2 Build in 3g functionality with options to use external modems.Display quality better & performance is good

So my advice would be download & install M009 firmware, because it works fine with M002.

Well, the M009 Firmware does run indeed on the M002. But, A: ofc, not rooted. B: No market therefore, C: WIFI is very unstable.
It does run stable though and it reports Froyo 2.2 om my M002 now :-)
Will have a look if ik kan make some tweeks and build my own firmware, but i am still a noob....

Well, which one do you recomend? I tried M009 on my M002 and (as you wrote) there is no Android Market (the AppMarket there sucks) and WiFi is unstable...

i recomend m009 its works perfectly in the tablet m002 and u have more options more games app etc.. i correct the problem with the cam just copie the the cam app of the m002 software and its all

new to this. what is the basic difference between the m001 and m002? can they use the same firmware?

model number: generic
mem size 256mb
firmware version 1.6
kernel version 2.6.29-00236
build number wmt2.1.2_88
I tried to update the firmware and got the nand not compatable kernel not right version I found a origal factory flash which works but the touch screen doesn't work and it does'nt scan for wifi or connect to the internet through ethernet can anyone help would like to put wince on it but just keep getting chinnese version

I have managed to get wince to work on my m002 but it only works from flash it doesn't install to the device any help here

+1 going to try the M009 firmware now

EDIT : All installed okay and rebooted. Now the screen does not function at all.

I did the same thing. I installed the M009 ROM, it started up but the touchscreen doesn't work.
