Here is what google translates for me:

At the moment foreign traffic in this file is larger than Russia's.
You can get this file only if you visit our advertisers help pay for our servers and channels.
Click 'HERE' to go to the selection of advertisers

where "сюда" is 'HERE'
you should get an advertisement with a countdown on the top of the page then a pop up where you should be able to enter a captcha and finaly the download.

Hello,

so, can I use my Bluetooth Dongle with my Hipad 701 – 2Gb (2.6.69 - #188) ?
How can I do this?
I have to do “insmod” of bluetooth.ko ed btusb.ko in adbshell?

Thanks a lot!

I'm a bit late finding this thread so perhaps it's dead.

Using insmod pl2303.ko installs the driver to ttyUSB0, cat /dev/ttyUSB0 shows gps data packets coming back from my ND-100S gps dongle OK. Most gps tools, like gps test from Chartcross, seem to expect the gps device to be on ttyUSB9 rather than ttyUSB0, hence they don't work. Is there anyway of installing pl2303.ko so that it uses ttyUSB9?

Essentially, I can see the dongle flashing whilst it trys to get a satellite lock, but the gps tools are not showing any satellite data because they are trying to read data from ttyUSB9. Any help would be much appreciated.

exell, first off thank you so much for your excellent work here!

Thanks to you I was able to get RS232 on my M701 tablet, something I didn't think would be possible.

Please would you be kind enough to post suitable links to the Bluetooth ko files, that would be truly wonderful if I could also get that working too.

Thanks again for your work.

hmm...
i removed the files i copyed before.
then i used adb to push both files to the sc card ('adb push bluetooth.ko /sdcard')
then used adb shell to run the commands you quoted and still get the same error.

# insmod /sdcard/bluetooth.ko
insmod /sdcard/bluetooth.ko
insmod: init_module '/sdcard/bluetooth.ko' failed (Exec format error)
Maybe it is because i use a suposedly 'BT-enabled' firmware for my m701, maybe there is some other difference between your pad and mine.
I will make a backup and try again with a different firmware.

p.s. yes, i did 'adb remount' to gain write previleges and the pad is rooted. ='(

I'm having the same problem here friend, as in both bluetooth.ko btusb.ko. I'm using a tablet gingerbread Coby MID7015 2.3.3. It always appears the error message

insmod /sdcard/bluetooth.ko
insmod: init_module '/sdcard/bluetooth.ko' failed (Exec format error)[/code]

Thanks

I managed to get a USB bluetooth dongle working on my S22/HW-702t by loading the btusb.ko and running Quicktooth.
AND it easily finds everything I throw at it :p
I'm running android 2.2

The file I used is attached.
I just copied it to system/lib/modules and "su insmod" it.

His tablet is running 2.2.
On a M701 you probably have either 2.1 or 2.3.3.
It is unlikely that his module will work on your tablet.

However in a matter of days MalaRom 1.1.0 for M701 will be released (is in beta test now).
It has a DriverPack with any module you could ever want, and then some.

Actually I think that most kernels for the M701 already has some Bluetooth support without the need for any modules.
Have you tried what he did, but without loading the module?

In the past, I did try it w/ the offical 2.1 fw but it didn't recognize the bluetooth dongle when plugged in for some reason. And , yes, I notice there is some bluetooth directory in the /system.

Anyway, look forward to your new 1.1.0 version w/ drivers included. Thanks for your work.

Hi

I have a Storage Options 'Scroll Essential' 7 inch tablet, which is Telechips based.

I'm trying to get Serial-over-USB running so that I can connect a couple of PIC projects to the tablet for some data-logging tasks. Not that different from the GPS really as the data-loggers output ASCII data serially.

Anyway, so far I haven't had much luck, but I'll download the modules and try 'insmod' once I'm approved.

Hi Glenn.

Serial ports are pretty easy to make work if you have the driver.
PL2303 works well and is usually embedded in USB hubs, USB gps etc.

You need to figure out the kernel version of your tablet.
Do a:
#uname -a
in ADB shell.
Aslo you should figure out the exact telechips cpu in your tablet.

In my ROM, MalaRom, there is a big collection of modules fitting "2.6.35.7-tcc" kernel, compiled for telechips 9200 cpu.
If it fits yours, you can download my rom at http://www.michel-lange.net/tcc
Unzip the archive. In the folder DriverPack you will find a tar ball with all the modules.

Otherwise it is not so difficult to compile the modules from the telechips kernel sources.
You can find them here:

you guys make everything so complicated, for something that should be so simple.. I can't understand any of this.. I have like 3 files ftdi_sio.ko with different file sizes...

ftdi_sio.ko 265k
ftdi_sio.ko 227k
ftdi_sio.ko 74k

what is SerialPort_0.7.apk?
what is ModuleLoader.apk?

what if I don't want to manually load the ko every reboot?
