ADB is enabled/disable in settings menu. I added the follow line to the standard android usb driver inf. Have no problems using ADB.

;Padigital Novel SC36400
%SingleAdbInterface%        = USB_Install, USBVID_18D1&PID_B004&MI_01

Black US Novel supports ADB through WiFi only.

"adb connect 192.168.xxx.xxx:5555"

Any idea if the QVC multi-colored models can handle this?

Good point Mark.

The lastest firmware I download for the US version, when loaded I couldn't connect with USB or WiFi. Didn't have it in very long for testing.

Actually started using the Novel as an Ereader  ;)

Find the IP of your Novel, either from your router or Wifi settings on the Novel.

Usually 192.168.xxx.xxx

Usuing Adb

Adb connect 192.168.xxx.xxx:5555
Adb devices

You may not need 5555 as Adb uses that port by default.

This only works on the US flashes or jackboxs GE flash.

To get this working in Windows 7 64-bit I had to add the following to the android-sdk-windowsusb_driverandroid_winusb.inf in the [Google.NTamd64] section

; Pandigital Novel
%CompositeAdbInterface%     = USB_Install, USBVID_18D1&PID_B004&Rev_0222&MI_01
%CompositeAdbInterface%     = USB_Install, USBVID_18D1&PID_B004&Rev_0224&MI_01

Remember to uninstall the device from the Windows Device Manager, re-plugin the usb to the BPDN and point the driver installation at the SDK usb_driver directory.

I just got jackbox's OP and his USB update.  I can run adb over usb but I haven't been able to get the wifi/adb connection working.  I tried, even, to install adbwireless but it's not wanting to intstall... Is there some ind off root access installation I should be aware of?

I attempted to update drivers manually using the adb.zip package uploaded by terminander (thank you, so much, terminander!!)...BUT.....
I get an error (it says the system cannot find the file specified: Android Composite ADB Interface). I unzipped the package contents to a single folder so everything was in that folder. Not sure why this is happening. Can anyone help me, please?
It would be greatly appreciated. (Sorry for my stupidity. I'm struggling terribly, have been trying to get adb to work so I can root my BPDN for MONTHS....completely unable to do so. Please HELP!!!)
