I don't usually have this much trouble with something like this, but I've checked the wiki page and looked through the forum and I don't see many others having problems updating the firmware.  I have the Gentouch Augen 78.  I put the "os" folder on my "C:" drive, push the back button on the back of the gentouch, reset it at the same time...and nothing ever happens.  My computer seems to recognize the gentouch when I connect it through usb, but the "waiting for device" in the command screen never does anything.  Anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

When did you get your GT78?  If it has the regular 3.5mm headphone jack and a white power button and came with screen calibration and has home, and volume in the notification bar, then it is a v2 and the updates don't work for us second generation users, I've struggled to try and update it but to no avail, instead I just rooted it and am dealing with no google apps. :/
