I hadn't used my M001 for a few weeks and when I took it out of it's box I found one side split open. After opening it up I discovered one side of the battery pack had blown up like a balloon.
Since only one side seems to be damaged can I just replace it with a 1600mAh 3.7v matching battery or would it be better to replace the whole pack?
I've had the tablet since August so returning it is out, it was an Ebay buy. I didn't use it for awhile because it is a Christmas present and I had loaded everything I needed to onto it and then just put it aside.
I ordered two batteries from a vendor. Here is a picture of one:
From the picture it looks like each one comes with a protection circuit. I'm guessing I'll have to take one of those circuits off and solder the two batteries together. Could someone do a quick tutorial on what wire goes where? (i.e. where the positive and negative leads get wired)
The protection circuit that came with my old battery pack was marked as so:
Front of card:
B+
P+
P-
BM
Where can you order batteries for the unit, as mine is out by a mile gives me like 20 minutes of charge. Any help appreciated
