Not an android tablet but i own a Nokia N800 and its a dream! Wish it was 7" because my eyes can't handle the 4.1 screen much longer. Looking for a similar 7" device right now.

I've been undecided between the Flatpad and the WITS 81 device from Merrimobiles. But then the story about Chrome came out and there's so much in the pipe for Christmas I may hold off.

Augen Gentouch 78 ATM... depending on how continued Augen supports goes may end up with A81-E or Cruz Tablet(IF it turns out to have an A8 or better and IF the street price is close to A81)...ChromeOS tablets: I have a sneaking suspicion that they will be Atom based and likely expensive... I took a look at their hw support and it's ALL x86 ATM... i.e. I just can't see a $300ish x86 tablet coming out in US/Canada/Europe... probably be more like $450 and up...

Hey Linuxluver, I bought the M001 from trademe also, but no where on the box or device does it say Eken, it just says its an MID and Ebook, I was able to use it for a good day or so, I downloaded quite a few apps form the apps store although I must admit it was very buggy, then I started experiencing a problem where I would turn it on, it would reach the android loading bar then after a good while enter the menu would just about be all loaded and ready to use, than it would revert back to the android loading bar again, I cant get pass the loading stage to access the menu so cant cant use it, so im going to send it back and see what can be done. ps what version was yours before you upgraded?

OEM wiki definition OEM refers to the company that originally manufactured the product. is the M001 MID Ebook a Eken product, it has no Eken branding on it?

To improve SlateDroid we want to expand it to include as many android tablets on the forum as we can. To do this we need to actually know what android tablets you forum members actually own.

Or i will do when i get it back after i sent it for repair from Pandawill

I have the Sony S Tablet and love it! My wife has an Acer Iconia A100. Gave the CruzReader away. It was pretty neat too, for the price.
