Just to inform that now it works very well. But the other side of the medal is that i lost camera function.
I'm asking myself why they don't compile the kernel with some "gadgets" modules... :'(
We have usb host!...
Btw, changing argument, haipad has released their 7" with bluetooth support.
cool

Today is TELEPAD in Slovenia.
But will go back to China.
Our custom office did not alowed import.
Despite promise of seller that has CE certificate is without any CE label.
But if I am honest, after almost one month of waiting has mine joyfulness sinked...
And yesterday I bought HTC Desire HD.
New gadget new fun...
I hope we will keep in touch in future as well.
Best wishes in new Year and merry X-mas.
Bye.

I can't believe that! Also you have some stupid laws?
How much they're boring&stupid. I tought that only italy was like that but now i know, we are not alone...
how sad.
i suggest u the next time to try to buy directly on ebay and do the seller sign the box like "gift".
2 years ago i bought a G1 htc from usa by ebay cuz i can't have it in another way.
Happy xmas and enjoy your new smartphone ;)

This EU laws are really "speciale".
About "gift" on package: NO GIFTS for our custom offocers.
And if the item is without CE label also no import.
But, FOX, null problemo, I have sooo much fun with new toy that is all already forgotten.
I wish You a nice x-mas evening.

What type is it (class 10)?
Can it be swapped by a faster one?

HW 45851 1 0
201 00IAE 7.4v
BTW, any troubleshooting ideas? I deleted the batterystats.bin file, used another 9v2A charger, left it over two days, and got no more than 20%, with about 1.5hrs of life (w/o wifi).
TIA

Hi, Eriel,
I do not monitor this thread so often...so I respond with delay to You.
Did You measure the accu pack ? I see that You have 2 batteries in serial connection,
Tell me voltage for each, than will see.

After overnight charge, both batteries are at 3.6v, while I get 6.8 measured at the circuit board connection solder points.
BTW, I measured the space where the batteries are placed: 120mm x 95mm x 4.5mm. Also, I simulated a double thickness (9mm), and only real mods required (a) longer screws, and (
Hope this helps (Mx ... fingers crossed)

You said that You have tried two different chargers.
But is the second 100 % ok ? Can You try ( just to be 100 % sure ) with another charger ?
If still will not be ok, than is circuit (charging part ) in Telepad broken.
And is not the first one...

After I read your msg, I opened the unit again and looked beyond the batteries... and noticed a burned out chip (see attached JPG)
I think your diagnosis is spot on. Any idea what now?

Then resolder.
If You do not find chip, contact seller. Send him picture. Maybe will he contact producer and he will send You burnedout chip.
I do this way and I am pretty succesfull with this system. This is faster and cheaper solution for seller.
Good luck.
